A Hong Kong dj of Japanese origin, Kenji Hidaka approached us to brand his image in a style which would reflect his background. We modified the Akkurat font for “Kenji Hidaka” and created a scalable logo by apropriating the well known turntable fader – easily modifiable for the different iterations (tote bag, business card, etc) but consistently in line with Kenji Hidaka’s identity.

For his business cards, we worked with three layers of paper (black – white – black) to get a super thick and consistant result which remind his logo’s stripes.
